Newgen Software’s BPM and ECM implementation at Access Bank has helped the bank win The Asian Banker Award for the Best Branch Automation Project, 2016. Access Bank was felicitated with the award The Asian Banker’s 3rd annual Middle East and Africa Regional Awards at the Ritz Carlton DIFC on 20th April, 2016.
Access Bank chose Newgen’s solution to automate its ten critical processes i.e. Foreign Fund Transfer, Salary Payment, Account Opening, Customer Handling etc. Newgen provided with an end-to-end solution, enabled the bank to capture customer information, track and monitor the status of debit card generation, process cheque book request and dispatch welcome kits efficiently.
With this implementation Access Bank reduced its turn-around-time by 90%. By automating the manual processes, operational efficiency was increased by 90% and operational expenses reduced by 50%.
