Similarly, we wanted to carve out a memorable identity for NewgenONE Harper, our conversion intelligence platform. In this blog, I will explore the journey toward crafting a strong and bold visual identity that sets Harper apart from its enterprise AI competitors.
The Essence of Harper
NewgenONE Harper combines the elegance of the harp (a musical instrument) with the sophistication of AI, symbolizing a blend of art and intelligence. This beautiful amalgamation not only reflects the harmonious structure of conversations but also embodies the real-time adaptability of AI technology.
The Logo: A Representation of Flow and Precision
The ‘HARPER’ logo serves as the foundation of our visual identity. The letters ‘A’ and ‘R’ are created from the forms of a harp, visually representing a continuous flow of intelligence and interaction—just like how AI refines real-time conversations and adapts to them.
This visual continuity signifies the seamless, dynamic nature of our AI-driven conversation intelligence platform.
The ‘E’ in our logo, formed by three strokes that resemble harp strings, depicts the foundational principles that guide our product—reliability, security, and responsible AI.
At a time when ethical AI has gained prominence, embedding these foundational principles into our logo provides Harper with a modern, progressive edge.
Color Palette ‘Balanced Revolutionary’ Theme
Our choice of color palette has a flavor of vibrancy with a pop of color. The gradient from blueish-purple to orange not only injects vibrancy and a futuristic feel but also symbolizes the evolutionary journey of AI—from cold raw data to the warmth of meaningful intelligence.
Blue tones in the logo introduce an element of trust and precision that are essential in the AI space. Meanwhile, the energetic and creative warmth of orange creates a sense of human connection—a necessary element in user interaction. The transition between these hues illustrates the blend of AI and human collaboration.
In an attempt to strike the perfect balance and up our enterprise AI game, our ‘Balanced Revolutionary’ theme was born.
The moving shape represents the visual continuity of the flowing design. The gradient color represents the human-AI handover which aligns with the design philosophy of the Duality Design Theory, where contrasting colors represent different but interconnected aspects.
Illustrations Style
Our purpose-driven approach to illustrations reinforces the product’s core philosophy: AI as an enabler, not just a tool.




Inspired by semiotics, each graphic has a strong symbolic representation, and the visual elements assist in enhancing complex ideas. Negative space and forward-moving shapes mirror the transformation from unstructured to structured data—chaos to clarity.

To further enhance our product identity and build engagement, we decided to create a mascot that embodies the essence of Harper. Meet Roseate Spoonbill – a magnificent bird known for its unique feeding mechanism and social behavior. This charming character not only captivates the eye but also resonates with our product’s personality.
The Roseate Spoonbill represents balance and harmony, feeding elegantly from the water, much like how Harper draws actionable insights from vast oceans of user data. Additionally, its gender-neutral nature aligns with our commitment to inclusivity in technology.
