Empowered by Newgen’s BPM implementation, Bank Dhofar, one of the fastest growing banks in the Sultanate of Oman has won the prestigious 2013 WfMC Awards for Excellence in BPM and Workflow. The award recognizes organizations for exemplary implementation of innovative business process solutions to meet strategic business objectives. The award is jointly sponsored by The Workflow Management Coalition (WfMC) and BPM.com.

Bank Dhofar won the award under its Banking and Financial Services Loan Origination category, being one of the 13 winners shortlisted from over 50 nominations.

Newgen was chosen by Bank Dhofar to automate and streamline its Retail Loan Origination Process and Credit Card Process. Newgen’s implementation helped the Bank with better vertical and horizontal growth, faster process cycle times, smoother auditing, tracking and reporting. Cumulatively, all these have led to faster customer onboarding and better customer satisfaction, helping Bank Dhofar maintain its growth trajectory.
