Mashreq Bank and Newgen Software have been awarded the Best Process Automation Initiative in the Middle East at The Asian Banker Middle East and Africa Awards Programme 2019. The Asian Banker Financial Technology Innovation Awards Programme provides the undisputed benchmark of the technology innovation in an increasingly fierce marketplace.
The awards ceremony was held at Conrad Sheikh Hotel in Dubai on March 21st, 2019. Mashreq Bank automated the data entry operational process through QR based forms for fund transfers, auto-population of data with straight-through processing at the core system, along with transaction tracking and real-time customer communication.
