Bank Dhofar was a winner for this year’s Asian Banker Award 2015


Newgen Software’s BPM and ECM implementation at Bank Dhofar has helped the bank win The Asian Banker Award for the Best Branch Automation Project, 2015. Bank Dhofar was felicitated with the award The Asian Banker’s 2nd Annual Middle East and Africa Award Ceremony at the Ritz Carlton, DIFC, Dubai on May 27th 2015.

Bank Dhofar chose Newgen’s solution to automate its Retail loan and Credit Card Disbursal and Account Opening Processes. Newgen’s solution helped Bank Dhofar by streamlining operational processes and also drove down operational costs. With this implementation Bank Dhofar was able to reduce the turn-around-time from 7 days to 1 day. The project automated previously manual processes, reducing loan approval time from 6 days to 1 day and credit card processing time from 4 days to 1 day.
