The Human Resources team at Newgen has been entrusted with the responsibility to create an intellectually stimulating work environment, which ensures that the employees enjoy a competitive, collaborative and healthy work environment.

We consider our human resources as a key factor to our success. We have designed a strategic career development program to encourage our employees in enhancing their skills. Our senior management team combines extensive experience in the information technology industry.

We believe that our senior management team has pioneered our growth and fostered a culture of innovation, entrepreneurship and teamwork. We invest in our employees through training and development programs under our performance oriented development plan that includes induction programs, technical training, leadership development and executive education programs. This allows us to identify and develop future leadership, build company allegiance and excellence in delivery through our “customer first” motto and to promote talent within our Company. “Emerge”, our leadership development program had a retention rate of over 95% as of Fiscal, 2017.

As of June 30, 2017, we had 2,380 personnel comprising 2,200 employees and 180 contract workers

Newgen follows “HR Rep model”, which decentralizes the HR function and puts HR in a more personal touch with the employees. Newgen’s employees and its comprehensive Human Resources strategy with special focus on individual and group talent management is what results in the organization’s healthy growth on a year on year basis.

The organization has a healthy mix of specialists from disciplines such as Research and Development, Software Product development, Applications Development, Sales and Marketing and other vital support activities.

Aspirants prior to being selected have to undergo a rigorous and extensive recruitment process. Once on-board, special care is taken to ensure that employees are well nurtured and their development well looked after. Newgen runs specific training sessions and Self Evaluation Programs to ensure that its employees are always ahead of the game when it comes to transforming businesses for their clients.

Newgen has been committed to provide a safe and congenial workplace to all its employees. Thus, even before the Sexual Harassment of Women at Workplace (Prevention, Prohibition and Redressal) Act, 2013 came into force, Newgen had a mechanism to deal with any such cases related to sexual harassment.

In order to ensure compliance with the Sexual Harassment of Women at Workplace Act, Newgen has a policy on Prevention of Sexual Harassment (Ref No. HRD/OD/042/01.05.2008, Version 2.0). The policy emphasises on Newgen’s ‘Zero Tolerance to Sexual Harassment’ stand. The policy covers all Newgenites including those on deputation, contract, temporary, part time, third party or working as consultants with us. The scope of this policy is also extended to visitors, customers as well as vendors coming in contact with any Newgenite.

We conduct focussed awareness campaigns for all our new and existing Newgenites. Newgen has a robust complaints & redressal mechanism with an aim to instil faith and confidence amongst the Newgenites.

A Prevention of Sexual Harassment (POSH) Cell has been established and is headed by the Director, Mrs Priyadarshini Nigam. A formal process to address any such complaint with respect to Sexual Harassment at Workplace exists and complies with the provisions of the Sexual Harassment of Women at Workplace (Prevention, Prohibition and Redressal) Act, 2013.
